Mikayla Myers is a published author specializing in fiction, romance and dark romance, with a focus on crafting suspenseful thrillers with unexpected plot twists. Born in New Jersey, to Cuban immigrant parents,  at the age of 7 her family moved to Miami, Florida, where she still resides. Mikayla is the youngest of 3 with 7 nephews, 2 nieces, 3 great nephews and 1 great niece. She lives a quiet life with her elderly mother and 7 year old Stafford terrier. Inspired by the literary great Edgar Allen Poe, and influenced by horror giant Stephen King, Mikayla chooses to write her novels without knowing exactly where the story will go until she actually writes it. She's an avid reader and hopes her writing will inspire the younger generation to grow a fondness for reading, by creating worlds full of wonder, twists, and unexpected endings.
