Behind the Scenes: King of Darkness

This book holds a very special place in my heart because it was my first complete novel and first published book. The King of Darkness revolves around two families, The Salerno family and the Moretti family. They are ruthless and of course all powerful within the Mafia world. The Salerno family is made up of the parents ( Antonio and Ellena) and their 5 children ( Twins Giovanni and Dominic) Mia Bella, Kiara Marie, and Bianca Michelle) the Moretti family is made up of the parents ( Lorenzo and Cassandra) Twins Luca and Dante, and daughters Sofia Elizabeth and Alessandra Gianna.

I wont go into too much detail about these characters only because i must protect the "Twist" within the book but what i will do is tell you each character is unique. Giovanni suffers an unimaginable loss and it throws him into embracing his darker side. Luca takes a loss to his twin and in turn he too gives into the darkness within him. Krill is the highest ranking enforcer in the Mafia and of course carries himself with authority and violence, naturally he he drawn to Luca and Gio hence the Unholy Trinity was born.

As with any mafia novel, this one deals with rival families, violence, illicit dealings, but that part is just the tip of the iceberg. These families deal with alot of benevolent forces determined to end them and they fight boy do they fight for each other. The women in this family are fierce and strong willed, while the men are all alpha males just trying not to anger the women. Through it all they are loyal and protective which you see in this first installment and throughout the series. I hope you enjoy reading about them as much as i enjoyed writing about them.
